- Cores the Ice Block while shaving it to produce the fastest ice block shaver in the
industry. This also allows an Ice Block to be shaved without "tempering" the
block, still producing the same consistent product of shaved ice. (Patent Pending)
- The above unique features allows the SWV-110 Ice Block Shaver to be the safest vertical
ice block shaver in the industry. There are no dangerous external moving parts for normal
operation of the machine.
- The Telescoping Head automatically "spikes" the Ice Block prior to shaving,
there is no external screw or crank as on other vertical ice block shavers.
- The SWV-110 utilizes gravity, acting on the Telescoping Head, to apply a constant
loading to the Ice Block at all times while shaving; facilitating consistent, fast, safe
shaving, time after time.
- The SWV-110 has a patent pending Ice Block/Drive interface system that enhances the
ability to spin the Ice Block for producing shaved ice. The interface system has Ice
Spikes that are spring loaded, allowing additional Ice Spikes to make contact with a more
irregular shaped Ice Block surface.
- The machine cannot be operated if the Clear Shields are open due to an electrical
interlock, nor can the Ice Shaving Blade be raised above the ice table surface where it
would be exposed to the operators hands.
- The Clear Shields will not open under normal conditions unless the Telescoping Head is
raised and locked in position and the Ice Shaving Blade is in its lowest position and
becomes locked in that position if the Clear Shields are opened.
